Northdownpine is a privately owned business specialising in sales of Quality Bedroom, Lounge, Dining and Occasional Furniture packed in cartons for home assembly.
Originally opened as two retail outlets in Kent namely Doverpine and Northdownpine in 2000.
With the development of the Internet and the general decline of High Street retailing we steadily moved from the High Street into Internet retailing working in partnership with the suppliers we developed over the years.
We “Only” deal with suppliers who can supply the items requested in good condition within a reasonable period of time. We “Do Not” use the scatter gun approach of offering “All” suppliers irrespective of ability to provide a decent service.
We currently operate two Internet Retail Operations, Northdownpine for Home Assembly furniture packed in cartons and a sister business www.creativemaison.co.uk which offers fully made up furniture and mirrors delivered throughout the UK mainland.
In addition we are seeking opportunities to develop into other areas and have a project site at www.kayak4u.co.uk where we are looking retail sit on kayaks and canoes in 2010.
For the future we are continuously looking for new suppliers, new retail opportunities. We would like to open retail outlets offering our goods both packed in Cartons and ready assembled however this is dependant on a number of considerations notably:
- Realistic Rents and Conditions from Landlords
- Realistic Rate Demands from Local Authorities
- End of Town Centre punitive parking charges
